Time & attendance
Turn the shifts your staff work into approved, paid hours — review what they actually clocked, spot late starts and overtime, fix times, breaks and rates, then approve and send to payroll.
Time and attendance is where rostered shifts become real, paid hours. Every time a staff member clocks on and off in the Shiftly Me app, Shiftly creates a timesheet — the record of when they actually worked, what it costs, and how it stacks up against what you rostered. This is where you check those hours and sign them off before anyone gets paid.
Start in reviewing timesheets: scan the week at a glance, see who's still on shift right now, and catch where the clocked time drifts from the plan — a late start, an early finish, unexpected overtime, or an overlap. Shiftly flags these so you know exactly what to check before you approve hours one at a time or in bulk. You can also end a shift someone forgot to clock off, add a timesheet by hand when a shift was missed, and export pay data as a spreadsheet.
When something needs fixing, open the timesheet and edit the times and breaks — correct a clock-in, add a break that wasn't recorded, reset to the scheduled times, change the position, or override a pay rate. Once your hours are approved and Xero is connected, post them to payroll and hand the pay run over to Xero.
