Scheduling & rosters
Build, publish, and manage your weekly roster — create shifts, copy and repeat them, save templates, publish to staff, run open shifts, and export the week.
Scheduling is where the week comes together — the heart of Shiftly. Every shift your staff get in the Shiftly Me app, every timesheet they clock, and every dollar that flows through to pay starts as a shift you place on the roster grid here.
Build the week in the scheduler, the weekly grid where you switch between views, move through weeks, filter, and assign staff. Add shifts with their position, times, and breaks, then copy, repeat, or stack them to fill the week fast — or save a typical week as a template and load it again next time. When the roster's ready, publish it to send shifts to your team and choose who gets notified.
From there the roster works for you: leave a shift open for staff to claim and handle the requests, keep an eye on who's available and the weather forecast as you plan, and export the week as a CSV, printable PDF, or calendar file whenever you need it elsewhere.
